Plot[]
While Taking a walk around the block, Frankie and Mike run into Dale and Vicki . Vicki recognized Frankie from a parent-teacher meeting, and Vicki was sitting next to her and woke her up. Vicki introduces them to her husband, Dale, and Frankie introduces her to her husband, Mike. They decide to walk together. Frankie tells Dale about when Mike and Frankie went to her sister's house for the weekend and couldn't work anything. Vicki asked Mike about the quarry, and he compared it to The Flinstones, which made Vicki laugh. They said goodbye to each other and told each other that they'd see each other again. Mike and Frankie were both impressed with each other. Frankie figured if they could bring it for them, then they could bring it for each other.
Meanwhile, Sue's boss Edwin asked her to go to the prom with him. Sue felt honored and excited and said yes. Later, Sean Donahue came to the Heck House and told Sue Frankie was telling Nancy Donahue that Sue didn't have a date to prom and that that's crazy and felt obligated to take her. Before Sue could speak, he explained that his car broke down from college and he's missing a major class but it's okay and she's like family. Sue felt touched. Sue's ex-boyfriend Darrin didn't know if she had a date or didn't and asked her to the prom. Derrick Glossner appeared at her door and told her to take him to prom. He smashed the mailbox on the way out.
Sue was meaning to tell Edwin that she can't take him in school when ex-boyfriend/best friend, Brad, came up and explained that they had an agreement that if neither of them had a date to prom they would be each others dates. Sue told him if it was anybody else, she would, but it's Darrin, and he knows how she feels about Darrin. Sue told Brad that she would understand if Brad's girlfriend from Canada Arena or Ariel... and Brad defensively said it was Arena and that that's a real name (implying that it's a lie). Brad was a little hurt, but they hugged, and she thanked him.
Brick needed Axl's help with a book project in school and since Axl's been in that class he could help. It was labeled "Think Outside the Book" and Brick didn't know how to think outside the box if they didn't tell him how to do it.
