Synopsis[]

Frankie decides to find a new passion to make her happy; Mike orders Sue and Brick to fix the giant hole between their bedroom walls; Lexie fools Axl into thinking he has a lucky streak.

Plot[]

Mike comes and confronts Sue and Brick about fixing the hole in their wall. Brick than spends the whole night watching videos on how to fix it which leads him to ask Frankie if he could take the day off from school. Frankie responds saying you cannot just take the day off when you are tired. She than takes the day off because she is tired.

Frankie stays a day home from work, relaxing on the couch when she see’s a commercial for Swedish Death cleaning. Realizing that in Swedish terms she should start preparing for death, she talks to Mike about starting her “Third Act”. Mike than asks how many acts she is going to have. Frankie scoffs and walks out of the room.

Axl is fixing his shoe with gorilla glue while Lexie tries to talk him into coming with her on ski-in trip with her friends, Axl responds that he can’t because he is poor and shows her his bank account which she than shocked by the amount in it. Lexie than offers to pay for his ticket and Axl says that he doesn’t want to be someone who just mooches off of his girlfriend and he says if she wants to be with him she will have to get used to that.

Frankie comes home and tells Mike about how she met a life coach in the mall who told Frankie that she should be a life coach. So, Frankie decides to be a lifecoach and makes one card. Sue than tells Brick that she can’t help him fix the wall because she has to go back to college for an early class. Brick protests and Sue tells him that she believes in him. Brick tells her that she is the only one who does.

Frankie goes to Reverend Tim Tom's group and tries to get an old lady to hire her as a life coach. Reverend Tim Tom than stops the service to talk to Frankie telling her that no soliciting is allowed. Frankie than distracts him and hides the one card that she makes telling Reverend Tim Tom how the family is doing. The Reverend than asks her how SHE is doing and Frankie responds saying ok. Reverend Tim Tom than asks her to come on his singing group to the young teams and with some convincing Frankie accepts. Frankie than tells Mike that she life coached herself into becoming a singer with Reverend Tim Tom. Brick than knocks down the entire wall in Sue and his room.

Axl begins to have a “lucky streak”, starting with him finding a hundred dollars in his sleeve. Than a steak “accidentally” got delivered to their apartment. Than, Lexi found concert tickets on the ground.

Frankie starts her singing with Reverend Tim-tom . It goes so well that they get booked for a “world tour” that covers 63 miles. Frankie is having so much fun and comes home exhausted. Sue comes home to the hole in the wall now being no wall and is shocked. Brick blames Sue and says that she should have never left him alone with the wall. Brick tells Sue that it will be mostly blamed on her as he can use his quirks as an excuse. Under pressure, Sue comes up with the idea to use her old student council posters that she has to cover the wall. They than use the boards and paint the wall.

Axl and Lexie go to dinner at a fancy restaurant with a gift certificate that Lexie claims that she won on the radio. Axl accuses her of lying about all of his luck and tells her that he has only seen an a hundred dollar bill once in his life. Lexie says that she did it because she loves him and than quickly regrets it asking Axl if It was too early. He asks her if kissing is allowed in fancy restraunts, she nods and he kisses her and than says that he loves her too. Lexie than opens her card from her parents and discovers 40 dollars in it and a note from her father saying that she is cut off. She is in shock and Axl tells her to not worry that he will teach her how to be poor. He than steals all of the breadsticks in the middle bowl.

Frankie starts getting ready for her next concert with Reverend Timtom and goes into Sue’s room to borrow a shirt. Through the now posterbaorded wall she hears Brick, Sue and Axl making fun of her singing face and her hat that she wears going on the concert. She is sad and takes off her hat. Reverend TimTom rings the doorbell and she opens it and tells him that she cannot do the concert with him and is very sorry. He than looks thoughtful and sad. Sue, Brick and Axl comes in to say hi and than give Frankie a dinner order. Reverend Tim Tom realizes what is going on and asks them to sample a new song. They nod and he plays the song “Mom’s are People too” which makes the whole family feel guilty. Frankie goes to the concert with him but, soon after decides to watch TV instead.

At the end, Sue and Brick show Mike the poster boarded wall and he says that it is excellent and couldn’t have done it better himself. Sue than laughs nervously and accidentally leans on the wall causing the whole thing to come down. Brick begins to do his quirks and Mike sighs.
